Conclusion

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

No one wants to get to the end of their life feeling that they have missed some of the purposes that God had planned for them. In order for us to live a fulfilled life that accomplishes God"s purposes, we need to have a clear understanding of our personal mission and align our priorities and decisions with that mission. Discovering our personal mission is a lifelong journey that involves investing consistently and prayerfully investing in private disciplines. This process will strengthen our sense of destiny and enable us to live an effective, focused life.

"A focused life is a life dedicated to exclusively carrying out God"s unique purposes through it, by identifying the focal issues, that is, the life purpose, unique methodology, major role, or ultimate contribution which allows an increasing prioritisation of life"s activities around the focal issues, and results in a satisfying life of being and doing." (Dr. J. Robert Clinton)
