Conclusion
"Until the kingdom of God can be demonstrated in our relationships of love with one another, we have nothing to say with any credibility to an unbelieving and broken world." (David Watson)
Relationships are at the heart of life. In fact, relationship is at the heart of God in terms of the Trinity, the interdependent relationship between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Yet, with the demands of church life, leaders often neglect relationships. In order to be effective leaders and effective in our witness in the world, we need to invest in our relationships with others as a priority. This will not happen through quick-fix solutions, or with a handshake at the church door, but only through a transformation of our lifestyle. As this happens, our lives will be an example that will lead others to Christ.
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:34-35)
