As Christians, the contributions that we make in this world can have even greater significance in the world to come. Our lives can have an impact that will be remembered into eternity. We need to maximise our contributions, so that our lives will have a positive impact on our and future generations.

The most effective way of being a positive influence in this world is to seek to be all that God wants us to be, and to seek to do all that He wants us to do. It’s not chasing after big visions, or seeking to be something that we are not. Rather, it is discovering God’s vision for our lives. That involves embarking a journey of discovery, which will take a focused effort.

Why not begin now by doing some reflection? If your character and achievements, rather than your face, were to be carved in rock, what would you want it to say? Why not write it down on a piece of paper now… it may help lead to it becoming something more concrete.
